What Ali wore

Zoe Spawton has been taking photos of Ali since August 2012. He is a Turkish man with a keen sense of style who walks past the cafe where she works every day. She posts the photos on a blog. Here is one of her with Ali:

I found out about them via the Guardian Pictures of the week.

    Elementary students could use pictures like this to write descriptions about people, the differences, and their similarities. Depending on where the picture is taken, too, older students could write a short story about the people, where they are, etc.

  2. Students could ponder about the personality changes he might have gone thru.
